A Trip of a Lifetime

Hello lovelies

Paris is a place I've always had some sort of infatuation with. I've always just loved the whole idea of Paris. My granny being the best person in the world booked a trip for just me and her to go to London/Paris and after months of waiting and excitement it finally happened!
On the 1st of August my granny and I took the train down to London so we had the following day (Friday) to spend there. We met up with my great aunt and uncle and went on an open top bus tour around London which was absolutely great. If you're only in London for a short time I highly recommend it. You will get to see absolutely loads in the short time you're there

On Saturday morning we took the Eurostar over to Paris for our organised trip with Rivera travel.
We met our lovely tour Guide on the train where he explained how everything was going to work when we got off at the gare du nord. The journey from London to Paris is about two and half hours but only 20 minutes of that you are actually in the channel tunnel!
We arrived in the afternoon and when we got to our hotel we went on a wander around the little area we were staying and went for dinner before heading back for an early night for the busy days ahead

This was my first view of the Eiffel Tower. I was excited about it!

On Sunday morning we went on a city tour on the bus where we saw so many different things but we didn't stop for very long at any of them
This is the Sorbonne which is the university of Paris. This is where I've decided I want to study when I go to study abroad. Fingers crossed anyway

I'm telling everyone I've seen the Statue of Liberty now because this is a replica as the statue was made in France and shipped over to New York. Little fact there if you didn't already know!

The beautiful Tour Eiffel. This is the spot I wanted to stay forever. I still can't believe i was there talking that picture

Here is moi with a bit of the tower in the background
Ps i am wearing a dress from topshop, belt from primark and my sunglasses are prada. Oh a nail polish is Barry m gelly shine in Greenberry.

In the afternoon we went to Versailles. Which was a very nice place and we went for lunch and I had a yummmmmmy crepe!

In the evening me and my granny went to see a typical French cabaret show involving the can can. It was probably the weirdest thing I've ever seen but it was definitely an experience!

On Monday morning we went to Monmatre. I saw the moulin rouge on the way! Which was exciting for me as I LOVE that film!

In Monmatre there is the absolutely beautiful Sacre Couer
How beautiful is this? Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to go in but I plan to go back to Paris many times so in sure ill get back to it!

In the afternoon we went back into Paris for a boat trip on the river seine. It was absolutely beautiful. We used the boats/company called bateaux-mouches.
On the trip we saw a whole load of beautiful sights. One of them being notre dame

Again absolutely beautiful building and somewhere I would love to go inside in the future.

After the boat trip my granny and I headed off on our own to go up the Eiffel Tower. It was the most amazing thing.

I never got to go all the way to the top because they close if every so often to clear the amount of people as you can imagine it gets rather busy. The view from the 2nd level was fantastic though and I'm so happy I got to there!

Monday night we went on a city by night tour. I was so excited to see the tower lit up. Seeing photos it looked amazing but nothing compared to how it looks in real life. I was in absolutely awe

To top it all off. At 11 o'clock every night it sparkles. I didn't know this so when.i saw it I literally started to cry because it was so amazing and I was just is happy and couldn't believe where I was

It was an absolutely beautiful sight.

On Tuesday morning we took the Eurostar back to London and it was over.

Like I said at the beginning. The trip from
London to Paris was organised through Rivera travel and it was the best thing my granny I could of done. It was very well done. So organised and everything went so smoothly. Our tour guide Richard was amazing. He was so knowledgable. I just couldn't recommend doing a trip with them any more.

Whilst it London my granny and I also went to see two shows in the west end. Before we went to Paris we saw Billy Elliot which was absolutely outstanding. Oh boy was it amazing. Out of this world amazing. If you want to go see a show go see billy Elliot. You will not regret it
When we got back to London we went to see mamma Mia. This again was amazing and exactly what you expect it to be. Cheesy fun feel good. All of that. It's exactly how the film is so we really enjoyed it!

Well there we go that was my amazing trip with my granny. Best trip of my life and I can't thank my granny enough for taking me there for my first time. I'm always going to treasure these memories.

I am so lucky to have been able to experience this so I wanted to share it with you. If you ever get the chance to go to paris, grab it. It's the most amazing place in the world

Family Fun in Florida

Hello again!
I thought it would be nice to share with you a few pictures of me and my family while we were in Florida. We had an absolutely fabulous time and took loads of photos!
During our stay we spent 5 days at Disney themeparks, we spent 1 day at Universal Islands of Adventures and also we spent a day at the waterpark in amongst shopping and sunbathing!

This a a couple snaps actually from snapchat of me and my little sister Leah on the plane before we took off. She was so excited!

First peak of Florida! So flat! and big and just so much space!
The flight took almost 9 hours going and it was not a great flight for me. I've become much more panicky about everything since all my health problems this year, I didn't quite realise how much it had affected me but I almost took a panic attack on the plane from being claustrophobic, it was rather not enjoyable

We arrived on the Sunday night and on the Monday we just went food shopping and things like that but on the Monday we went to Animal Kingdom so here is a picture of a Giraffe from that day. I Love Giraffes, they are one of my favourite animals!

During the first week we got to go visit Harry Potter Land! well the wizarding world of Harry Potter at Universal Islands of Adventure. It was so well done, I loved it! This is a picture of my granny and grandad, Mum, me and Leah.
AND WE GOT TO TRY BUTTERBEER! I really liked it! it was kind of caramelly. It just made me really excited.

This is basically what it looked like, It was so fantastic and well done
Here is Hogwarts, by the way I'm still waiting on my letter! Anyone else?

We went to my favourite water park EVER which is Aquatica. I don't go on any of the rides apart from the lazy river and river rapids but I love it all the same.

Epcot is one of my favourite parks and I hadnt been in ages! Also this year they are celebrating 20 years of their flower and garden displays so they had all sorts of characters around the park as plants! I wish I could show you them all!

We went into the lego store at downtown disney because my little sister LOVES lego! She brought home like 4 sets!
Me and my Dad however just took photos with the lego models. Dad with the hulk and me with Buzz and Woody!

Me, Mum and Leah outiside Cinderellas castle because you can't go to Magic Kingdom and not get your photo taken here. It's practically tradition. Can I just live here? It's so beautiful!

This is literally the only picture of all of us, we got our lovely waiter to take it for us! My Grand parents my parents me and my sister (My brother didn't come with us). This is at TGI fridays on our last night. I didn't want to leave!

I absolutely love going on Family holidays because it's just a great time to be able to spend with your family and make great memories. This was one of the best holidays I have ever been on. I'm incredibly lucky to be able to go on holidays each year and to have such an amazing family to share it with.

Florida Haul: Part 1- Nail Polish

Well hello there! It's been quite some time since I did my last proper post, but I'm back!

It is no secret that I am a nail polish junkie/hoarder so how could I resist with Americas cheap prices when I was in Florida?
As a little disclaimer I did buy everything myself with my own money I eared while working over Christmas except the O.P.I nail polishes which were a gift from my granny :)
Anyway we are just going to get right to it because I have 14 nail polishes to show you! That's like one for every day of my holiday, woops.

Showing the most boring one first, I got Seche Vite and oh I'm so in love, I don't know how I've lived so long without it, It truly works Miracles! I got this at Publix and i think I paid around $8 for it.

This is the colour Fearless from Revlon, It's a beautiful red that i got from Walmart for only $3.97!!!! How is that fair?! they are £6.99 in boots!!

So being the price that they were I couldn't just get one, I also got this orange which is "Siren" and I love it, I'm loving the brights!

This maybelline colour show nail polish I got at Walmart again for $2.99, the colour is "Iced Queen" and is a beautiful cool toned purple, soo pretty!

Now Sally Hanson is a brand we do get in the UK but only a select few products and they are all more nail care. So when i saw the range of colours I had to get a couple! This is "Mellow Yellow", a bright lemon colour and i love it but haven't worn it yet! It was $2.49 from Target

This nail polish excites me, It's holographic so why wouldn't it? I LOVE the look of this however I'm not sure how much I'll wear it but I think it'd look super cool over Silver Nail Polish. This is called " In The Spotlight" - $2.48 from Walmart

This is such an exciting colour, It's like neon although it doesn't come across so bright on camera but boy I was surprised when i put this on my nails! I got this for $4.99 ! from Publix and it is China Glaze "Turned up Turquoise" I love it although it has a strange finish, It's got a slight shimmer/sheen but when it dries its like sort of matte, can you have matte with sheen? but I just put a top coat on and it was super glossy and gorgeous!

Now it's time to take a moment and fall in love with this china glaze polish called Fairy Dust, it is holographic again and is a really finely milled glitter polish that just adds a beautiful sparkle to any nail polish, It was love at first sight! I got this again for $4.99 from Publix

Onto Essie, I FINALLY got my hands on Bikini So Teeny and it just the most perfect pastel blue, It's so pretty! It has a slight shimmer in it as well but the most perfect combination is this with Fairy Dust on top of it, Honestly you will never want to take it off! I got this at Walmart I think for $7.75

Then I got Essie's Lilacism, which as you probably can see and from the name is a beautiful lilac, It's so lovely and pastel and perfect! I think I got this at Walmart too for $7.75

The last Essie Polish I picked up is "Penny Talk" a metallic like bronzy rose gold. I Seriously wore this on my toes for like the entire holiday, It's so pretty and you can get away doing only one coat! BONUS. I got this one at Target for $7.79

O.P.I time! This B-E-A-U-tiful colour is "Yoga-ta Get This Blue" Omg this is my fav blue nail polish ever! It's like the blue version of "Tomorrow Never Dies" which is my fav nail polish of all time basically. Its just so gorgeous. All the O.P.I nail polishes were $8.50 from the Duty Free at Sandford Airport

Heres it on my nails, how gorgeous?!

This bright pink is called "Pompeii Purple" It really doesn't photgraph well but it's a bright like fushia pink with purpley/blue duochrome, It's gorgeous however! If this is your kinda thing I think it is very very similar to the Maybelline Color Show polish in "Speeding Light" (comparison is on my instagram @lifesglitters)But that is a much cheaper alternative
Lastly there is " I think in Pink" Which is kind of like a Candyfloss Pink, Its lovely anyhow and very opaque!

That was all the polishes! I know I have a problem but oh well, I love all the polishes I got and I'm so happy with them!
I Will have part 2 Florida haul up in the next couple of days as well.

Hope you're having a fantastic day!
